What Coffee Capsules Are Compatible With My Coffee Machine?

Coffee machines are practical and affordable for working professionals and people on the go. Different brands produce different types of coffee pod/ coffee capsules that are not compatible with all types of coffee machines. This can get a little confusing.

If you don’t know whether the coffee machine that you have is compatible with your coffee pod, stress no more. Here’s a guide that is easy to understand so that you won’t be confused anymore.

Let's explore some different types of coffee pods/capsules that are the most popular.

  1. Nespresso Original capsules

These pods are 37 mm in length and 30 mm in height. All Nespresso Original pods are compatible with DeLonghi/Breville Nespresso machines, which include the following models-

  • Le Cube
  • All Citiz models
  • All Essenza models
  • All Pixie Models
  • All Lattissima models
  • Maestria
  • Inissia coffee machines
  • LOR coffee machines

Nespresso compostable coffee capsules that are eco-friendly are also compatible with the coffee machines mentioned in the list above.

Most Nespresso capsules are made from Aluminium which is recyclable.

Some Vittoria and LOR pods are compatible with the Nespresso machines that are mentioned above.

Compatibility of Nespresso Original pods is not guaranteed with these machines-

These pads fit almost every coffee machine that is out there. In addition to this, Easy Serving Pads are also eco-friendly coffee pods. They can be made of paper and are compostable coffee pods.

There are three variants of Lavazza Pods - Lavazza Blue, Modo Mio, and Espresso Cap / Mile Cafe Barista. These pods are different from each other and not compatible with machines for the other pods.

Lavazza Blue pods are compatible with all Lavazza Blue machines. Modo Mio pods are compatible with Modo Rio machines and Mile Cafe Barista is compatible with the Mile Café Barista coffee machine.

 6. Nescafe coffee pods

Nescafe coffee pods are only compatible with their variety of machines.

  1. SealPods

SealPods are made of stainless steel, and they are reusable coffee pods. SealPods are compatible with Nespresso machines and Dolce Gusto machines.
